CitroFresh® Food Wash and Natural Preservative is an organic plant derivative that can deliver the requirements of cleaning and sanitising foods in a non corrosive and 99.99% biodegradable system. It is a unique phyto-pharmaceutical and totally natural and organic compound with a broad-spectrum anti-microbial activity. In laboratory, in-vitro tests have shown CitroFresh® to be effective in killing bacteria, (gram positive and gram negative) viruses, moulds, yeast and fungi.

CitroFresh® Food Wash and Natural Preservative is non-mutagenic, non-carcinogenic, non-corrosive, non-tainting and non-volatile. It has extended action over 48 hours and has the ability to break down bio-films. It's non hazardous to operators and the environment. It is infinitely soluble in water and effective even in the presence of organic matter. Household Natural Food Wash

CitroFresh® Food Wash & Natural Preservative: In the household, applying CitroFresh® Food Wash and Natural Preservative to fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry and seafood will reduce the risk of food poisoning and spoilage.

Derived from plant extracts CitroFresh® Food Wash and Natural Preservative can be used as a processing aid for controlling contaminating micro-organisms. It combines with the human pathogens present on the food and breaks them down into harmless components including CO2 and water. Within a few hours of application the natural components that remain will have either combined with the organic acids and sugars present in the food, or broken down further into harmless components, leaving no detectable residues or toxicity.

CitroFresh® Food Wash and Natural Preservative does not irritate skin, eyes or mucous membranes and is non-corrosive and non-volatile. It does not taint or colour food or affect its taste in any way.
